1. Cool Down the Device: Ensure the device is fully powered off and the heating plate has completely cooled.
2. Prepare the Descaling Solution: Mix vinegar or citric acid with water at a ratio of 1:1.
3. Wipe the Heating Plate: Once the scale has dissolved, wipe the heating plate to effectively remove scale and stains.
Note: Do not use steel wool to wipe the heating plate, as it may scratch the surface of the device and the heating plate. Even though this scratch doesn't impair the normal functionality of the heating plate, it can make future cleaning more difficult.
4. Rinse the Heating Plate: Pour out the solution from the heating plate and rinse it once with clean water. This helps to thoroughly remove any residual solution and stains.
5. Wipe the Control Panel: Use a clean towel to wipe the control panel, and avoid rinsing it directly with water.
6. Rinse the Disinfection Chamber: The disinfection chamber and top lid can be rinsed directly with water.
