1. Connect to the monitor
Note: The camera and monitor will automatically pair when powered on, eliminating the need for manual setup. This design streamlines the initial connection process.
If the camera disconnects from the monitor for some reason, follow these steps to re-establish the connection:
① Power Setup
Power on the camera using the provided power adapter and cable.
Ensure the monitor is fully charged before proceeding.
② Camera Pairing Mode
Press the Pair button on the camera once to activate pairing mode.
There will be a prompt sound, and the connection indicator light on the camera will flash slowly.
③ Monitor Connection Procedure
a. Press the Home button on the monitor to access the main menu.
Use the direction pad to select the Camera icon, then press the OK button to enter the camera settings menu.
b. Select "Add Camera" and the camera number on the monitor to initiate the connection.
Tips:
1. For best results, ensure the camera and monitor are positioned 1.5 to 4 meters apart with no obstructions between them before starting the connection. This clearance helps establish a successful connection
2. A single camera can only connect to one monitor at a time. Conversely, one monitor supports simultaneous connection to up to 4 cameras.
Once 4 cameras are successfully paired with the monitor, they will appear in the device list on the screen, as shown in the example below:
2. Connect to the Momcozy App
Via QR Code
2.1 Preparation
① Power on the camera using the provided power adapter and cable.
② Ensure the camera is fully charged before proceeding.
③ Connect your mobile phone to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
④ Download the Momcozy app, create an account, and log in.
2.2 Camera Pairing Mode
Long-press the Pair button on the camera until you hear a prompt sound to activate pairing mode.
2.3 Connection
① Manually select the BM04 camera, follow the in-app instructions to enter your WiFi name and password, and generate the connection QR code.
② Hold the QR code within scanning range of the camera to initiate pairing.
③ Upon successful scanning, the camera will emit a prompt sound and establish a connection with your phone.
Connect to the Momcozy App
Via AP Mode
1. Preparation
① Power on the camera using the provided power adapter and cable.
② Ensure the camera is fully charged before proceeding.
③ Connect your mobile phone to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
④ Download the Momcozy app, create an account, and log in.
2. Camera Pairing Mode
Long-press the Pair button on the camera until you hear a prompt sound to activate pairing mode.
3. Connection
① Switch to AP mode via the toggle in the app’s upper corner.
② Manually select the BM04 device in the app, then follow the on-screen instructions to connect your phone to the camera’s hotspot to start the connection.
After a successful connection, you can access the camera via the app even when your phone is connected to another WiFi network or using cellular data.
