There is an identified cause for this situation: If the water poured onto the heating plate is hard water with minerals, the scale will build up after using the sterilizer for a while.
Please follow the steps below to verify the result:
1. Clean the existing scale and sediment using the white vinegar or acid descaling solution, and then remove the solution residue using clean water.
2. Make sure that bottles and other items are thoroughly cleaned before undergoing the sterilization and drying process.
3. We suggest you pour distilled water/purified water to sterilize and dry the items. Additionally, it is advisable to remove the sediment or scale regularly.
