It can be greatly frustrating when the monitor doesn't work as expected.
Here are some tips to help you troubleshoot the issue:
1. Microphone Test
Ensure the camera is powered using a functional power cable and adapter.
Play music near the camera and check if the audio is transmitted to the monitor speaker. Additionally, please make sure that the monitor speaker is not muted.
2. Environmental Check
Place the camera 4 meters away from the child and ensure no physical object (e.g., walls) exists between the camera and monitor.
Additionally, please maintain a distance of 1.5–4 meters between the camera and monitor.
The reason is that the obstructions may interfere with data transmission, and excessive distance can reduce sound pickup accuracy.
3. VOX Sensitivity Checking
Navigate to VOX Settings, set sensitivity to High, and verify if the camera detects sound and triggers the monitor to alert you.
4. Factory Reset Procedure
If the issue recurs, please perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the monitor’s power button for 8 seconds.
Next, reconnect the camera to the monitor, set VOX sensitivity to High, and test the functionality.
