It can be greatly frustrating when the monitor doesn't work as expected.
Here are some tips to help you troubleshoot the issue:
1. Power Supply Check
Ensure the connected power adapter and cable are functioning correctly.
Verify the camera is powered on and the monitor is fully charged.
2. Position Optimization
Place the camera 1.5 meters to 4 meters of the child for optimal audio pickup.
Ensure no large objects or high-magnetic-field devices are placed between the camera and monitor, as these may interfere with sound transmission.
3. Camera Microphone Check
Set VOX (Voice Activation) sensitivity to High level on the monitor.
Make audible sounds near the camera to trigger the monitor’s alert function, and then check if the monitor will be woken up.
4. Monitor Speaker Test
Play audio near the camera and adjust the monitor's speaker volume to see if you can hear the collected sounds.
Note: During the two-way talk, the monitor pauses the ambient sound playing. Release the microphone button to resume listening.
5. Power Source Replacement
Plug in the camera by using another 5V 2A power adapter, cable, and outlet to see if the issue is related to the power.
