NO.

Question

Answer

1 Is it normal for a lot of steam to come from BS03?  Yes, this is a completely normal physical phenomenon. The hot steam becomes much more visible when it hits the cooler air of your room, especially if the room is not warm. Please be assured this is part of its normal operation.
2 What should I do if the screws inside my BS03 bottle washer are rusting?  The screws inside your BS03 washer should not rust under normal use, as we use stainless steel screws specifically for their rust-resistant properties. If you see any signs of rust, this is not normal. Please take a photo and contact our customer service team right away so we can provide a solution.
3 What should I do if the metal heating plate in my BS03 turns yellow?

Rest assured, this is not rust. The yellowing of the heating plate is typically due to one of two reasons:

Limescale Buildup: This happens when minerals (salts) from tap water precipitate and form a yellowish layer during the heating process.

Dry Burning: If the water level in the tank is too low, a brief dry burn can occur at the end of the sterilization cycle, causing the plate to turn yellow.

How to Clean It: You can easily restore its shine by using a dedicated descaler, or by wiping it with a cloth soaked in a white vinegar or citric acid solution.

How to Prevent It:To avoid this, we highly recommend switching to purified or distilled water and always ensuring the water tank is sufficiently filled before each use.

4 What is the power consumption of the BS03 washer in different modes? The power usage of the BS03 varies by function:
washing:28W;Water Heating / Steam Sterilizing:500W;drying:150W
The machine reaches its maximum power consumption of about 530W during the wash cycle when it is simultaneously spraying and heating the water.
5 How can I use the BS03 for washing only and skip the drying cycle? After the wash cycle is completed and the machine automatically enters the drying phase, simply press and hold the power button to turn it off.
A quick note: We set wash and dry as the default because air-drying is slow and can expose clean bottles to airborne dust and bacteria. Our HEPA-filtered drying provides the highest level of hygiene for your baby.
6 Does the rapid wash mode on the BS03 use less water than the normal mode? No, both the "Rapid Wash" and "Normal Wash" cycles use the same amount of water, approximately 2.5 liters per cycle.
This is to ensure a thorough rinse is achieved in every mode. For this reason, we recommend filling the water tank to near the MAX line before each use.
7 How do I properly use detergent tablets in the BS03?  Using our recommended detergent tablets is simple. Just drop one tablet directly into the washing chamber at the bottom of the machine. There's no need to place it in a special compartment.
For the best cleaning results and complete peace of mind, we highly recommend using the official Momcozy Detergent Tablets designed specifically for the BS03. They are fragrance-free, non-toxic, and hypo-allergenic, formulated to effectively remove stubborn milk film and odors while being completely baby-safe.
8 Can I use the US version of the BS03 in another country with a different voltage?

Our US version of the BS03 is designed for a 120V power supply. If you plan to use it in another country or region, you must first confirm the local voltage compatibility.

  • If the local voltage is also 110V-120V, you can use it normally with just a plug adapter.
  • If the local voltage is 220V-240V, do NOT plug it in directly, as this will instantly damage the machine. You must use a reliable step-down voltage converter that matches the machine's power rating (220V to 120V). Please note that damage caused by connecting to an incorrect voltage source is not covered under warranty.
9 Are the materials inside the BS03 safe and BPA-free? All parts inside the BS03 washer that come into contact with bottles and accessories, including the upper/lower shelves and clips, are made from food-grade, BPA-free PP (Polypropylene) material.
10 How long is the power cord for the BS03 bottle washer?  The power cord for the BS03 is 1 meter (about 3.3 ft) long, providing flexibility for placement on your countertop.
11 What should I do if the BS03 drain pipe suction cup won't stick?  The suction cup works best on smooth, flat surfaces. If you're finding it doesn't stick well, please ensure the surface (like the inside wall of your sink) is clean and smooth.
Here's a little trick: apply a small amount of water to the rim of the suction cup or the surface before pressing it on. This can significantly improve the suction.
12 Can I extend the drain pipe for my BS03 bottle washer because it's too short?

We understand that your kitchen setup might require a different length for the drain pipe. Currently, we offer two official drain pipe lengths for the BS03 washer, which are available for purchase:

  • 1 meter (about 3.3 ft): This is the standard length that comes included with your washer.
  • 0.5 meters (about 1.6 ft): A shorter option is available for setups that are very close to the sink.

Important Note: For a secure, leak-proof fit, our drain pipes are not designed to be connected together to extend their length.
If the standard 1-meter pipe that came with your unit does not reach, we recommend exploring options to place the washer closer to your sink or drain area.
Should you need a replacement for the standard 1-meter pipe or wish to purchase the shorter 0.5-meter version, you can find them on our official website under the 'Accessories' section.

13 How many milk bottles can the Momcozy KleanPal Pro Baby Bottle Washer and Sterilizer accommodate for cleaning at one time?

The BS03 Momcozy KleanPal Pro Baby Bottle Washer and Sterilizer can hold and clean 4 bottles and other accessories, like nipples, little toys, and so on at one time.

14 When it comes to refilling the water tank, are there any particular requirements? When refilling the water tank, we recommend using distilled or purified water.
Hard water contains mineral elements; if used over an extended period, it may lead to the formation of scale. This scale buildup can, in turn, significantly impact the cleaning and operational efficiency of the washer.
Additionally, pouring at least 2.5 liters of water into the water tank is essential to ensure the bottle washer and sterilizer function properly. If the water volume is less than 2.5 liters, the device will automatically shut off during the "Steaming" process due to insufficient water.
