Solution
-
Verify Power Supply Compatibility
Check that the voltage and frequency listed on the BW05(D8) rating label match your local household power supply. Do not use an unknown transformer, loose power strip, or travel converter to operate a unit designed for a different electrical system.
-
Test a Direct Grounded Wall Outlet
Plug the BW05(D8) directly into a confirmed working grounded wall outlet. Ensure the power connection, plug, base, and control area are clean, dry, and free of dark marks, odor, deformation, or unusual heat.
-
Reset and Retest the Unit
Unplug the device for about 30 seconds, then reconnect it. Press and hold the Power button as instructed in the manual, and select one simple program. If the unit recently stopped mid-heating or steam cycle, let it cool completely before testing again.
Note
If the issue persists after completing the steps above or you notice smoke, sparks, melting, a burning smell, liquid in the power area, or heat that makes the plug, cord, or outer housing uncomfortable to touch, unplug the unit right away. Do not perform further testing, please contact Momcozy support with the following materials:
- Serial Number (SN)
- Order number or proof of purchase
