How to solve the weak or no sound in the camera for Baby Monitor (BM01, BM03, BM04)

We understand how frustrating of no sound in the camera it is when you're using this product. Don't worry, let's walk through a few steps to find the solutions :)

Probably Related Scenarios:

  • Lullaby/soothing music plays on the monitor but the camera speaker has no sound.

  • Talk/Intercom from the monitor produces no sound at the camera.

  • Camera speaker volume is extremely low, intermittent, or unstable.

Solution:

1. Check the basic status(necessary)

a) Please confirm the camera is powered on and plugged in with a stable supply (recommended 5V/2A).

b) Please confirm the monitor battery is sufficient (low battery may reduce performance)

c) Place the camera and monitor 1–2 meters (3–6 ft) apart in the same room with minimal obstruction (Ensure there are no major obstacles between camera and monitor (avoid walls, metal cabinets, refrigerators, steel doors; Keep away from interference sources (router, microwave, Bluetooth speaker, wireless doorbell, etc.), ideally 1–2 meters away).

2. Reset + pair again

a) Guide the customer to perform a reset: press and hold the monitor power button for ~8 seconds (forced/simulated reset).

b)After restart, pair the camera and monitor again followed the prompted.

3. Lullaby playback

a) On the monitor, start playing a lullaby/soothing music.

b) Turn the monitor volume up (recommend 70%–100% or maximum).

c)Check whether the camera speaker produces sound.

If it doesn't work, go to the next step.

4. Talk/Intercom test

a) Press and hold the Talk/Intercom button and speak for 3–5 seconds.

b) Check whether sound comes out from the camera.

If talk works but lullaby doesn’t → possible lullaby/audio resource or audio-route setting issue. Reboot/reset and retry. Escalate to after-sales support if needed.

If lullaby works but Talk doesn’t → possible Talk button/function path issue; reset and check for stuck buttons. Escalate to after-sales support if needed.

If both are silent → possible link/power/camera audio hardware issues.

5. Eliminate interference and environment factors (necessary)

Take away from the obstruction or try the setup in a different room as a comparison.

If it doesn't work, go to the next step.

6. Swap the camera power path(necessary)

Swap to a known-good set of: 5V/2A power adapter, Power cable, Wall outlet / power strip.

Keep the camera plugged in and repeat Steps 3–4 at close range.

Note:

If the above solution(“close range + reset/re-pair + interference elimination + 5V/2A power swap”) cannot help you still, please collect the evidence and escalate to after-sales support.
