Solution

1. Operate the Mode Button Slowly 

   Press the On/Off button first, then press the Mode button slowly and watch each icon light up in sequence. Wait for your required icon to flash, then leave the controls untouched for about 3 seconds to confirm the selection.

2. Run a Full Test Cycle 

   If the unit keeps a previous setting, select the mode you need and complete one normal full test cycle. This helps confirm whether the behavior is just a retained setting or an unresponsive control issue.

3. Power Cycle the Unit and Clean the Control Panel 

   Unplug the unit for about 30 seconds, then reconnect it to power. Make sure your hands are dry and the control panel is clean, then test the mode selection again.
