Bottle Washer - Limescale, Mineral Marks or Residue on Heater Surface|BS04

Solution

  1. Unplug and Cool the Unit

Unplug the BS04 bottle washer first. Let the heater surface and any remaining water cool down completely before cleaning to avoid burns.

  2. Wipe With a Soft Damp Cloth

Use a soft damp cloth for daily cleaning of the heater surface. Do not immerse the base, rinse it under running water, or use abrasive pads, solvents, metal tools, or harsh cleaners.

  3. Remove Mineral Buildup With Descaler

For mineral buildup, place a Momcozy descaling tablet or food-grade citric acid directly in the wash chamber; do not place them in the water tank.

  4. Do Regular Descaling

Perform regular descaling to maintain heating performance. Do this about every four weeks in hard-water areas, or sooner if you see visible buildup.

Note

If the heater surface is deeply pitted, peeling, cracked, burned, rust-colored after cleaning, or still produces an unusual odor, stop using the unit and contact Momcozy Customer Support with a close-up photo.
