This article may be applicable to the following Phenomenons:
- No one touched it, but the volume goes up/down by itself.
- It suddenly mutes, then becomes very loud a while later.
- The sound keeps changing as if it’s pressing the volume button on its own.”
Possible Reasons:
- The volume buttons may be stuck or being pressed by a case/screen protector.
- The system may have a software-related issue.
Solution:
- We recommend removing any accessories that might affect the buttons and checking whether the buttons feel normal: Remove any accessories that could affect the buttons (case/screen protectors, clean dust around the buttons externally only (avoid letting any liquid enter the gaps). And press Volume + and Volume − a few times)
- If the buttons feel fine, we can perform a factory reset to rule out software.
- If it still happens after the reset, it’s more likely a control-side hardware fault, and we would recommend after-sales service for repair or replacement.
