We understand how frustrating of connecting problem when you need to use monitor . Don't worry, let's walk through a few steps to find the solutions :)
Phenomenon:
- A new camera cannot be paired to the monitor
- Camera and monitor cannot reconnect after being disconnected/reset
- Add Device / Add Camera” fails on the monitor
- The monitor cannot find the camera / pairing keeps timing out
Solution:
1. Check power & basic status (required)
a. Please keep the camera plugged in (camera typically requires continuous power).
b. Please ensure the monitor adapter/battery is sufficient (recommended: fully charged).
c. Restart both devices once (power off/on, or unplug/replug camera power).
2. Start “Add Device / Add Camera” on the monitor (key step)
a. On the monitor, press Home to open the menu.
b. Select Add Device / Add Camera, then follow the on-screen prompts.
c. During pairing, keep camera and monitor within 1–2 meters with minimal obstruction.
3. Put the camera into pairing mode (key step)
a. Locate the Pair / PAIR button(Reset button) on the rear of the camera.
b. Press the pairing button once (avoid repeated pressing), then watch for the LED to become slow-blinking (pairing-ready).
4. Check “max cameras reached” / remove old devices (required)
a. Check how many cameras are already listed/connected on the monitor.
b. If it is near or at 4 cameras:
Remove cameras you no longer use (Delete/Remove from the device list). Then try the step 2-3 again.
5. Factory reset (rule out system state)
On the monitor, perform Factory Reset (Settings → Factory Reset). After reset, repeat Step 2–3 to pair again.
6. Cross-check & after-sales handling(If feasible):
If available, cross-pair with another monitor or another camera to locate whether the issue is camera-side or monitor-side. If it still fails, escalate to after-sales support.
