This upgrade is only available in EU countries. The whole process takes about 20 minutes. Please simply follow our steps to complete it patiently.

1. Warm Tips Before Upgrading (Very Important!)
Before we begin, please take a minute to read the following precautions to protect your device and data:
1.1. Protect Your Memories:
If you are using an SD/TF memory card in the device to store video recordings, please be sure to remove the memory card first. Please back up its contents to a safe storage medium outside the device before proceeding with the upgrade to prevent any data loss.
1.2 Keep the Power On:
During the upgrade process, please ensure that both the camera and the monitor remain connected to the power supply at all times. A power outage midway may cause a device failure, resulting in an inability to turn it on.
1.3 Please be Patient:
Please do not unplug the TF card used for the upgrade before the progress bar on the screen is complete or the device restarts on its own.
1.4 Don't Interfere the Automatic Movements of the Device:
During the upgrade, the camera may automatically rotate one full circle (this is its self-check routine), and the monitor may restart automatically. These are completely normal phenomena, so please do not press any buttons to interfere with them during this time.
2. Upgrade Preparation
Please check if you have the following items ready on hand:
2.1 Devices to Upgrade:
BM series Camera + Monitor.
2.2 Power Supply:
It is recommended to use the original charging adapter and cable from the box. If you don't have them, please prepare a standard charging adapter with a specification of 5V/2A to ensure a stable voltage during the upgrade.
2.3 Official Upgrade Toolkit:
Includes 1 TF card (with the latest upgrade files pre-loaded) + 1 Card Reader.
3. Three Easy Steps to Upgrade
Core Secret: Please be sure to upgrade the Camera FIRST, and then the Monitor!
Step 1: Upgrade the Camera
①Power Off:
Unplug the camera's power cable.
②Insert Card:
Insert the TF card with the upgrade files into the camera's card slot (please note the front and back of the chip, and insert it gently but firmly).
③Power On to Upgrade:
Plug the power back into the camera. It will automatically recognize the file and begin the upgrade.
④Upgrade Successful:
Wait for about 1 minute. When you see the camera automatically complete a full rotation (Pan/Tilt self-check), it means its upgrade is complete!
⑤Wrap Up:
Unplug the power and safely remove the TF card.
Step 2: Upgrade the Monitor
①Power Off Completely:
Long-press the monitor's power button to ensure the screen is completely black and turned off.
②Assemble the Toolkit: Insert the TF card you just used into the card reader.
Insert the card reader into the charging port at the bottom of the monitor.
Connect the other end to the power cable and adapter, and plug it into a power outlet.
③Start the Upgrade:
Long-press the monitor's power button to turn it on.
④Upgrade Successful:
An upgrade progress bar will appear on the screen. Please wait quietly for the progress bar to fill up (about 1 minute). Once completed, the monitor will automatically restart and enter the main screen. At this time, you can safely unplug the card reader.
Step 3: Re-pair
After the system upgrade, the camera and monitor need to "get to know" each other again. Please follow these steps to re-pair them:
①On the Monitor:
Press the "Menu" button ➔ Select the "Camera" icon ➔ Select "Add camera" ➔ Click "OK", and the screen will start a countdown.
②On the Camera:
While it is powered on, long-press the Pair button at the bottom of the camera for about 5 seconds. Release it when you hear a crisp "beep" sound.
③Pairing Successful:
The real-time live view will reappear on the monitor screen. You're all done!
④(Optional) Check the Version:
You can go to the monitor menu ➔ find the Contact Us page, and check if the version number is now up to date.
