The firmware upgrades are only for EU countries. And both the camera and the monitor need to be upgraded together. If you just upgrade one of them, you may be confronted with pairing issue.
If you use the current device which without firmware upgrades to connect to the new device, it may also causes the pairing issue . So it's required to upgrade both of them.
