1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse the base, supply cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
3. Do not clean the base under tap water.
4. Do not use abrasives or solvents for cleaning. They may damage the appliance and the surface of the heating plate.
5. Never use abrasive pads to clean the plastic parts of the appliance.
6. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the base.
7. Mineral residue, particularly in hard water areas, may deposit on the heating plate after a few sterilization cycles. To avoid scale buildup, it is recommended to descale the sterilizer every four weeks with a 1:1 mixture of water and vinegar solution.
