App Connection Update Guide of Wellness 1 Breast Pump

Hey mama, if your Wellness 1 isn’t connecting to the app yet, it may just need a quick update first.This process takes about 6–7 minutes and helps improve ease of use.

Don’t worry — we’ll guide you through it step by step.

Step 1 — Before You Start

Before you start, make sure:

  • Your pump battery has at least two bars
  • Your phone is close to the pump
  • Your Momcozy App is up to date
  • Your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is turned on

Step 2 — Enable Bluetooth on Your Pump

  1. Make sure your pump is turned off
  2. Plug the USB-C cable into your pump and connect it to a power source
  3. Within about 10 seconds, please complete both steps below:
  • Press the Mode button (see Figure 1) 5 times
  • Then press the Warm button (see Figure 2) 5 times

  2. Unplug the charging cable

When the screen shows “b”, Bluetooth is ready for pairing.

If “b” does not appear, start over and repeat the steps above until “b” appears on the screen.

Step 3 — Pair Your Pump for Firmware Update

  1. Open Momcozy App → go to Me page.
  2. Scroll down and tap About.

  1. On the About page, tap your profile picture 5 times.

A new option called Debug Mode will appear below.

  1. Tap Debug Mode to enter the device Search Page.

  1. Turn on the pump and Bluetooth is enabled during the process.
  2. When your device appears in the list, select it (a green checkmark will appear).
  3. Tap Quick Pairing and wait for pairing to finish.

If the pump doesn’t connect, restart it, enable Bluetooth broadcasting again, and try once more.

Step 4 — Update the Firmware

Once the device is successfully paired, a firmware update prompt will appear.

  1. Tap Confirm to begin the update.
  2. During the update:
  • Keep your phone connected to Wi-Fi
  • Do not close the app or leave the page
  1. Wait until the update is completed.
  2. Tap Completed when finished.

You will then be directed to the user guide page.

Step 5 — Connect Your Pump to the App

After the update, you're ready to manage pumping more easily from your phone.

Let's get your pump connected.

  1. Go back to the Devices page → tap the + icon.
  2. Tap Add Device → select W1.
  3. Turn on your pump.
  4. Select your Wellness 1 when it appears.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.

Once setup is complete, your pump will appear on the device page and connect normally in the app.
