Minor clumps or sediment appearing after mixing milk powder do not necessarily indicate abnormal heating from your milk warmer. Unlike sugar or salt, which can dissolve instantly, milk powder is a complex blend of protein, fat, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. Mixing it involves several stages: wetting, sinking, dispersion, then dissolving or suspending.
Different milk powder brands behave very differently when mixed, due to variations in their formula, particle structure, surface fat content, agglomeration manufacturing process and storage conditions. Even when mixed with warm or hot water, some milk powders will only fully disperse evenly after tightly sealing the bottle and shaking thoroughly.
We recommend you first follow the instructions printed on your milk powder can for the correct water temperature, water volume and shaking method.
If your device heats normally with no error alerts, and this issue only occurs with one specific milk powder, the problem is most likely related to the powder’s inherent dispersibility.
