Solution
First, observe the indicator light immediately when the pump stops to determine your exact scenario.
Scenario A: The indicator light changes from solid to "FLASHING" (Smart Pause)
If the indicator light is flashing, the pump is still powered on but has paused due to a smart safety trigger. This is not a defect.
- Check for Overflow Reminder: Check if the milk in the milk collector has reached approximately 150ml. If it has, the overflow sensor automatically pauses suction to prevent leaks. Please empty the milk to resume pumping.
- Check for Tip-Over Protection: If the milk volume is low but you recently bent over, leaned forward excessively, or moved around, the pump will automatically pause to prevent spills. Simply sit completely upright and short-press the power button to resume.
- App Verification Method: Open the companion mobile app and toggle OFF both "Overflow Reminder" and "Tip-Over Protection" in the device settings. If the pump stops flashing and pausing after turning them off, it confirms these smart safety features were simply functioning normally.
Scenario B: The indicator light goes "COMPLETELY OUT" (Complete Shut-Off)
If the light turns off completely, the device has fully powered down. This behavior is completely unrelated to the app's overflow or tip-over features. Please check for these hardware causes:
- Confirm the 30-Minute Safety Timer: The pump is programmed to automatically shut down and turn off its light after 30 minutes of continuous use (or your customized app timer) to protect your breast tissue. This is a normal safety protocol; simply long-press the power button to restart.
- Check for Low Battery: If the pump completely shuts off before the 30-minute mark, the battery may be depleted. Please connect it to a verified charger.
- Inspect for Liquid Backflow (Hardware Issue): If the device has plenty of battery but suddenly shuts off completely before 30 minutes and refuses to turn back on, immediately detach the motor from the milk collector. Inspect the motor's suction hole and the diaphragm area for any milk residue or moisture. If liquid ingress is found, do NOT attempt to turn on or charge the device. Place the motor port-down in a dry, warm environment for 24–48 hours to dry completely.
Note
If the issue persists, especially under these scenarios:
- The indicator light continues to flash and pause the pump even after you have completely turned OFF both smart features in the app.
- The device shuts down completely (light goes out) before the 30-minute mark without any liquid ingress or low-battery warning.
- The motor suffered liquid backflow and fails to power on after drying.
