The 24H keep-warm mode is designed to maintain the temperature of water only, not breast milk or formula. Storing milk in a constant warm environment via this machine will not extend its safe storage life.
Once breast milk is brought to room temperature or heated, it must be consumed within 2 hours.
For safe formula preparation: powdered infant formula is non-sterile. Mixing it with water of no less than 70°C can drastically reduce risks of pathogenic contamination.
Any leftover breast milk after feeding shall be used within 2 hours upon finishing the feeding session; discard it afterwards.
