Thank you for contacting us. We're truly understand how confusing of having this problems. Here're some steps for you to check:
- Open the battery compartment and confirm no plastic insulating sheet is left inside.
- Check the positive and negative poles of the 3 AAA batteries.
- Do not mix new and old batteries, nor replace only one of them. Take out all batteries, wait for about 1 minute, then reinstall them.
- Short-press the ON/OFF/TARE button to power on, and check if the screen lights up.
If the batteries rattle loosely inside the compartment, or if the metal contacts are bent or corroded, ask the customer to take photos for reference.
