Problem Description
My breast pump shuts off automatically, sometimes much earlier than expected. Is this a normal safety feature,and how can I tell if something is wrong?
Tip: The breast pump automatically shuts off when a normal pumping session ends. It also shuts off if it is powered on but pumping is not started within 15 minutes. This is normal.
Solution
- Confirm whether the breast pump shuts off at the end of a normal session or after remaining idle for 15 minutes.
- If it shuts off earlier, make sure the battery shows at least two bars, disconnect the charger, and test it again. Record the exact running time before shut-off.
- For app-connected models, check whether a timer has been set in the Momcozy App.
Note
Stop using and charging the breast pump immediately if it becomes unusually hot, smells burnt, appears swollen, or liquid has entered the pump motor.
