Breast Pump:Overheat-Wellness 1/M5/M5 Smart/M6/M9/S9 Pro/S12 Pro/S12 Pro Quick/V1 Pro/V2 Pro/Air 1

Applicable model:

Wellness 1/M5/M5 Smart/M6/M9/S9 Pro/S12 Pro/S12 Pro Quick/V1 Pro/V2 Pro/Air 1

Tip: The pump motor may feel slightly warm during pumping or charging. For models with a warming function, the area against the breast may also feel warm when the function is on. This is normal as long as it remains comfortable. The pump motor should not become too hot to touch.

Solution

  1. If the pump motor feels slightly warm, turn it off and let it cool completely at room temperature. Keep it away from direct sunlight and other heat sources.
  2. After it has cooled, test it again in a cool, well-ventilated area. If charging, use the original charging cable and the recommended power adapter.
  3. If the pump motor becomes too hot to touch, stop using or charging it immediately. Turn it off, carefully remove it from your breast, unplug the charger, and do not test it again.

Note

Please contact us if the pump motor repeatedly becomes too hot to touch or remains unusually warm after cooling. To help us resolve your issue quickly, please provide the following:
  • The device Serial Number (SN).
  • Whether the issue occurred during pumping or charging.
  • The approximate time before the pump motor became hot.
  • If it occurred while charging, a clear picture of the charging cable and power adapter.
Stop using and charging the breast pump immediately if it smells burnt, produces smoke, appears swollen or discolored, or has liquid inside.
