Cleaning and Disinfection of Air 1 Breast Pump

2.1. Step 1: Cleaning

Please manually clean the device! The safety of using a dishwasher to clean and disinfect this product has not been verified.

Prepare the below items:

• Soap and hot water

• Drinkable-quality water

• Clean wash basin used only for infant feeding items

• Clean brush used only for infant feeding items

• Unused dish towel or paper towel

1）Rinse: Rinse milk collection parts and feeding items under running warm/cold water to remove residual milk or dirt.

2）Wash: Place parts in a dedicated infant feeding wash basin. Soak in warm (40-60°C/104-140°F) soapy water for 3-5 minutes, then scrub with a dedicated clean brush (do not wash directly in the sink to avoid contamination).

3）Rinse Again: Rinse under running water or in a separate clean basin. Repeat washing if dirt remains until no residue is visible.

4）Air-Dry Thoroughly: Place parts, wash basin, and brush on a clean, unused towel in a dust-free area. Do not rub or pat items (prevents germ transfer).

5）Clean wash basin and bottle brush：Rinse the wash basin and brush after each use, then air-dry. Wash them with soap and warm water every few days after every use

2.2. Step 2: Disinfection

caution：

• Do not sterilize milk collection parts in UV sterilizer. High temperature(>110 °C) will shorten their service life and cause safety hazards.
• Do not sterilize the Flange Cover,Pump motor,Charging Cable and Charging bag.

Prepare the below items：A household pot、Drinkable-quality water、Clean tongs

Disinfection methods:

Method 1:Disinfection with boiling water 

1) During disinfection with boiling water, prevent the bottle or other parts from touching the sides of the pot (prevents irreversible deformation or damage).

2) Place the disassembled milk collection set in the pot and fill the pot with enough water to cover the components to disinfect. Let the water boilfor 5-10 minutes, make sure the parts do not touch the sides of the pot. 

3) Remove items with clean tongs. 

4) Air-dry thoroughly.

Method 2: Sanitise in microwave (Once per day after use)

caution：

• Must be use momcozy Microwave Steam Sterilizer Bags in microwave in accordance with the instructions on the bags.

• Only sterilize parts deemed safe for microwave sterilization.

• Be careful when removing the bag from the microwave

• The steam bag is intended only for microwave-safe plastics.

• Do not place the steam bag on the metallic grill or dish

• Do not use it in a conventional oven.

Ensure milk collection sets, bottle brushes, and wash basins are cleaned as above prior to disinfection. Disinfect all milk-contacting items (including bottle brushes and wash basins!) using one of the methods below.

1）Wash and rinse every item in clean water.	2）Pour 2 oz (60mL.) of water into the bag. Without the appropriate amount of water, the parts could distort in shape.
3）Separate all pump parts and place bottles and pump parts into the bag.Then seal the bag tightly. DO NOT OVERLOAD!	4）Place the steam bag in the center of the turntable in the microwave. Ensure that the steam bag is standing upright.Rotate the bag halfway if your microwave does not have a turntable.
5) Allow the bag to cool for at least 3 min before removing it from the microwave.	6) Discharge any remaining water through the drain spout before remcying the sterilized parts,Rinse the bag before the next use.
