3. Pumping instructions
WARNING
1. Always power off the pump fully to release the vacuum before removing the milk collectors from your breast.
2. If no milk flows after continuous pumping for 5 minutes, stop and try pumping again later the same day. Do not overpump empty breasts.
3. Stop pumping right away if you experience persistent pain, severe discomfort, skin redness, itching or allergic reactions. Consult a lactation specialist or healthcare professional promptly. 4. The included milk collector is for on-body milk collection during pumping. Transfer milk to a separate lidded storage container or milk storage bag for feeding or long-term preservation.
5. Freshly expressed breast milk must be refrigerated or frozen right away. At room temperature (16°C–25°C), breast milk may only be safely stored for 2–4 hours before feeding.
CAUTION
1. Keep an eye on milk volume during pumping to avoid overflow leakage.
2. Do not pump while lying flat, doing strenuous exercise, or performing high-risk activities that may cause injury or milk spillage.
1)Alignment
a. Press the milk collectors tightly against your breast with zero air gaps before pumping.
b. Hold the flange to your breast and lean forward slightly to check alignment; ensure your nipple sits centered inside the flange tunnel.
c. Double-check through the flange opening: the nipple tip must not touch any inner wall of the flange tunnel. Readjust if contact occurs.
First Perspective
Note:
Proper nipple alignment is critical for comfortable pumping and optimal milk output. Improper positioning will lead to soreness and low suction efficiency. Refer to the Nipple Size Ruler for sizing guidance.
2)Secure Pump in Bra
Place the milk collectors inside your dedicated pumping bra and adjust the straps to hold the unit firmly against your breast without gaps. Tighten bra straps as needed to prevent sliding during pumping.
3)Starting pumping
- Confirm the power adapter is connected, tubing is securely attached, and milk collectors are properly assembled.
- Press the knob to power on the pump. The display will illuminate.
- The pump defaults to Stimulation Mode to encourage milk letdown.
- Use the Left (L) and Right (R) buttons to adjust suction levels independently for each side. Stimulation Mode: 5 levels; Expression Mode: 15 levels.
- Press the Speed button to adjust the speed levels. There are 5 speed levels, and both sides are adjusted simultaneously.
- To use a program, rotate the knob to select the desired program, then press to confirm.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin pumping. The SoftStart™ feature will gradually increase suction over the first three cycles for a gentle start.
- During pumping, the display shows real-time suction levels, mode, session duration, and a suction curve graph.
- When finished, press Start/Pause to pause, then power off by pressing the knob. Wait for vacuum to release before removing the milk collectors.
-
Transfer expressed milk to a storage container. Disassemble, clean, and disinfect all milk-contact parts.
